Dr. Nicholas Pigneri
Nicholas Pigneri, DDS, LVIF earned the designation of Fellow from LVI Global (LVI) in June 2022. The Fellow distinction is awarded only to those doctors who successfully complete the LVI CORE Series (which includes a minimum of 278 continuing dental education hours), as well as a comprehensive exam covering the skills and techniques taught in the LVI CORE Series.
Dr. Kathleen Akers
Dr. Kathleen Akers attended Creighton University for dental school after graduating from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. At Vanderbilt, Dr. Akers was on the Dean’s List, Vanderbilt Dance Team, Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority, Omicron Delta Epsilon National Honor Society, and Student Government. She also spent time studying abroad, as part of the Vanderbilt-in-Italy program.

We find many patients suffer from undiagnosed TMJ disorders that cause a great deal of pain and discomfort. Sometimes jaw-related pain shows up in other places like the head or neck. Our goal is to heal TMJ disorders, giving patients permanent relief from TMJ pain. Treatment begins with a non-invasive TMJ exam at our office.
